We are pleased to be able to inform you that Greystoke Forest will re-open on the 20th April 2020 to the 31st October 2020, for permissive pedestrian access only.

·       There will be no parking provision at the forest or at the forest entrances.

·       Those walking in Greystoke must follow any signs or instructions provided.

·       There is active deer control in the forest and there will be

times when a red notice will be displayed at the main gates.

When these signs are in place there will be no public access

to the forest.

·       All dogs must be kept on a lead and dog waste removed.

In future years Greystoke Forest will open each year from 2nd April – 31st October. It will be closed between the 1st November and 1st April inclusive. Please note that there may also be unannounced temporary closures due to high risk operations.

This information will be posted at the various gates to the site and has been forwarded to Greystoke, Mungrisdale and Skelton Parish Councils.
