| As the new hall was nearing completion after 9 months of excellent work by the main contractor Ian Curry; it was decided to hold an open weekend for everyone to come and view our new village asset. |

The weekend attracted an estimated 250 visitors. No one could fail to be impressed, by the convivial surroundings and the wonderful ambience that is achieved. Guests were given a guided tour of the hall and light refreshments served by a willing team. A slide show ran continuously showing the demolition of the old hall and the building process of the new hall. |

Known as the "meeting room" this modern spacious room is ideal for meetings, conferences, lectures and classes.
Some people liked it so much they just wouldn't go home !!!! |
