Present

Alan Bird, David Huxley, Ernie Teasdale, Lesley Smith, Michael Bohling, Bob Watt;

Andy Holliday – Cumbria Police

1. Appointment of Chairman for council year 2009/2010                                   Lesley Smith was re-elected as Chairman for 2009-2010 by unanimous agreement

2. Apologies Adam Beeston, Jennifer Stevenson

Resolved that apologies be accepted

Roy Fisher -      Eden District Council

3. To receive the Chairman’s Declaration of Acceptance of Office                Chairman’s intent of declaration of acceptance of office was accepted by all councillors present and was signed by the Chairman and the clerk

4. Appointment of Vice Chairman for council year 2009/2010 Michael Bohling was re-elected as Vice-Chairman for 2009-2010 by unanimous agreement

5. To receive Vice Chairman’s Declaration of Acceptance of Office Vice Chairman’s intent of declaration of acceptance of office was accepted by all councillors present and was signed by the Chairman and the clerk

6. Minutes The minutes of the 2008 Annual Parish Council Meeting were accepted as a true record

7. Annual Accounts Annual accounts were adopted by councillors present by unanimous agreement external audit papers were signed by the Chairman and the Clerk
