Minutes of Meeting held on Thursday 17^th February 2005

Present: Lesley Smith; Alan Tiffin; Ernest Bird; Dorothy Chalk; Robert Jackson; Ernie Teasdale;         Ronnie Wilson; Les Wilson

1.       Apologies received from Michael Bohling

2.      Minutes of Meeting on 4 January 2005 were read and signed

3.      Council were asked to consider whether the public should be excluded from the meeting during the discussion of the items now on the Agenda and this was agreed in view of the discussion on terms of tenders for parish land and the early stages of a dispute

4.      Declaration of Interest

Ronnie Wilson declared an interest in point 9

5.      Freedom of Information Act update was given to the councillors

6.      Discussion has been ongoing with various bodies regarding Hutton Roof and project costs will be met from reserves as the funding is no longer available from Sustainable Development

7.      Agreed to continue to obtain further legal advise in respect of Hutton Roof

8.      Parish Land has been affected by the new act introduce in January 2005.  Subsidies are now based on land and tenants can claim the subsidies.  Letting agreements to be amended to clarify that entitlements remain with the land once the tenancy expires.
