Welcome from the Chairman of the Parish Council to everyone to the meeting |

1. Apologies were received from Robert Jackson; Roy Fisher; Lyall and Maureen Thompson; Trish Acland; Richard and Kath Earl |

3. John Askew Regional Manager Digital UK was the guest speaker who gave an informative presentation on the introduction of Digital television in the UK. |

4. Updates were provided by Parish Representatives for the work of the past year: · Parish Council Report given · Recreation Room has been operational for 2 years and bookings are increasing with the Accounts showing a profit. · Mary Jack Trust ~ 3 grants were awarded in 2006 to applicants who live in Berrier and Murrah. · Jonathon Scott Trust ~ Income is £3000 per annum with a third each from Land; Property Rent and Investments · Northern Fells @ Written Report given |

5. Hutton Roof Village Green was discussed at length with various residents voicing opinions. Five residents made complaints regarding the Parish Council’s management of the village green. The Chari said that the issues raised would be investigated |

6. An explanation of why the Parish Precept has increased over the past 3 years from £300 to £2500 |
|
7. The Councillors, Chairman and Clerk were thanked by a parishioner for all of the time and work on behalf of the village |
|
8. The telephone boxes within the Parish do not appear to have been maintained by BT in Mosedale and Mungrisdale although the one at Hutton Roof appears to have been painted. |

9. There is a lot of support for the Gardening Skips to continue in the village. |

It was decided later in the evening that the Parish Council would set up a working party to meet with residents of Hutton Roof to discuss the way forward. Proposals would be brought back to the Parish Council for agreement. |
