Minutes for Annual General Meeting held on Monday 19th May 2003.

Apology J L Wilson

Before the meeting started Mr Roy Fisher addressed the meeting asking for comments from the council on future planning applications so that he could help on these matters.

Also before the meeting commenced the Chairman I R Wilson thanked the retiring parish councillors, Mrs.N Tweddell, Mr. D Elliott And Mr. B Thompson for the work that they had done and the time they had given to the Mungrisdale Parish Council. The chairman welcomed new members to the council Miss D S Chalk Mr. M J Bohling and Mr. E Teasdale.

Acceptance of office and Declaration of interest forms were signed this also took place before the meeting started.

Mr. I R Wilson prop’ by A Tiffin 2nd R Jackson 

Mrs. L M Smith prop by Miss D Chalk 2nd by M J Bohling.

Mrs. L M Smith was Declared Chairperson by 4votes to 3

Acceptance of office was signed.

Appointment of Vice Chairman E Bird prop A Tiffin 2nd R Jackson.

Mrs. L Smith chairman thanked the retiring chairman Mr I R Wilson for the work he had done for the parish council over a period of 12 years. Thanks were also given to retiring Vice Chairman Mr R W Jackson.

Lighter Touch Audit

LTA/03 The Parish accounts were inspected and signed by Madam Chairman and the Clerk

LTAA/03 The statement of assurance was completed and signed by the  Chairman and the Clerk

IA/03 The internal audit has been completed and signed by Mr N R Preston.

R Jackson prop’ N R Preston be asked to audit the accounts next year ending 31st March 2004.2nd by M Bohling.
