Welcome to the Parish of Mungrisdale

Set in the northern fells of the English Lake District, the Parish of Mungrisdale is made up of eight hamlets: -  Berrier, Bowscale, Haltcliffe Bridge, Heggle Lane, Hutton Roof, Mosedale, Mungrisdale and Murrah.

Overlooked by the imposing fells of Blencathra (Saddleback), Bowscale and Carrock and complemented by the Caldew and Glenderamakin becks. The parish is predominately a farming community, and is also a very popular with tourists.
